Ollie Tyler

Ollie Tyler is a creative technologist and augmented reality developer from London, based in Los Angeles, known online as @ollietylerr. He has worked in AR for more than 10 years, and his filters have been viewed more than 32 billion times across TikTok, Snapchat and Instagram.

His TikTok effects include Crying Eyes, the effect behind the "Just Hay Fever" trend, with more than 23 billion views, as well as Star Sign Guesser, Red Flags and Canon Event. On Snapchat he made the official "Jiggle Jiggle" lens with Louis Theroux and Jason Derulo, and he is a Snapchat ambassador.

Through his studio, tnySocial, Ollie builds custom apps, games and AR for artists, influencers and brands. In 2026 he designed and built Last One Standing, a daily celebrity guessing game made with TikTok creator The Daily Upturn, which hit #1 on the App Store's Top Downloaded Free Games chart in Trivia. His other projects include Tapaday, a daily minigame app, and Check His Hairline. Before that he built AR campaigns and games at Zappar, including 7-Eleven Lucky Jump and games for Angry Birds Explore, and was AR Development Lead at Poplar Studio, where he worked on the Doritos x DICE WebAR campaign.

He has joined panels at AWE USA 2022 and Snap's Growth Day London, spoken at TikTok's Effect House Creator Camp London and Zappar's AR Pioneers, hosted Snap's Lens Fest Extended in London, and run AR workshops for Niantic 8th Wall, Empathy Week and Snap Philanthropy. In 2022 Euronews profiled him as the designer of the viral crying filter.
