fishtheweb is a cosy multiplayer fishing game you play in the browser, inspired by the fishing in Stardew Valley. Up to 64 players share each island, with beaches, a pier, a pond, a river and open sea all around. You walk around, cast a line, win the bar minigame to land the fish, sell your catch at the stall and upgrade your gear. There's nothing to install: you can play straight away as a guest, or sign in with Google so your save follows you to any device.
There are more than 200 fish to find, each with its own rarity, spots, hours and weather, plus treasure and a Fishdex to fill. Daily and weekly challenges on the notice board, day and night, and changing weather keep the island moving, and a stall sells blind boxes of outfit pieces that are purely cosmetic. Players chat, emote, sit on benches together and share links that bring friends straight to their island.
Ollie designed and built it solo under tnySocial, and launched it at fishtheweb.com in September 2026.
