7-Eleven Lucky JumpGames
An AR game inside the 7-Eleven app where playing could win you prizes.
Lucky Jump is an AR game in 7-Eleven's app in the US, made by Zappar with Cheetos Popcorn in May 2020 as part of 7-Eleven's "Always-on AR" campaign. Players placed a world-tracked paddling pool in their home and launched a Slurpee off a diving board for the chance to win 10,000 7Rewards points or a free bag of Cheetos Popcorn.
The game was tied to real purchases: buying a bag of Cheetos Popcorn unlocked new plays, and points won were collected in the 7Rewards app, linking the AR game to in-store spending.
Ollie built the whole game at Zappar using ZapWorks and TypeScript, from the world-tracked paddling pool and the Slurpee launch to the prize logic.

I'm a creative technologist with 10+ years in AR. My filters have been viewed more than 32 billion times across TikTok, Snapchat and Instagram, and I'm a Snapchat ambassador. Through my company, tnySocial, I build custom apps, games and AR for artists, influencers and brands, made to fit their brand and their audience. Before that I built AR campaigns at Zappar and led AR development at Poplar Studio. From London, based in Los Angeles.
