Dance Ninja is an iPhone game for learning and performing viral dances. It scores your moves in real time, so the better you dance, the higher your score, and new viral dances are added daily, so there is always a fresh challenge. There is no console, TV or extra gear involved: just an iPhone and some space to move, which also makes it a workout.
Ollie built the app solo at VRL (Vir Reality Labs), the company he co-founded. It launched on the App Store on 1 August 2024, is free to play with an optional Premium subscription, and is listed under Games, Health & Fitness and Music. It has kept getting updates since launch, and holds a 4.7-star rating from 636 ratings on the US App Store.
Players share their scores and routines on TikTok. One of them, @selenaaa.dta's "Do my dance on dance ninja!" video from October 2025, has more than 840,000 plays, and it's the clip shown here.
